The application was to take place over a development stage that had recently been drill-seeded.
The client required a soil stabilisation method proven to achieve short term erosion control, whilst allowing the seed to germinate without compromising the binding properties of the sediment control application.
Vital Chemical was engaged to deliver a proven, environmentally sound solution that would meet the client’s compliance obligations to achieve environmental sign off for plan sealing purposes, whilst also providing the local council and key stakeholders with valuable information on best practice erosion and sediment control measures for the residential development sector.

Vital Bon-Matt P47-VR1 is a multi-purpose veneer designed for effective short to medium-term stabilisation on non-trafficked areas.
Curing within hours post-application, the product will not remobilise into the environment and has been proven to withstand high wind speeds and heavy rainfall events.
Sufficient coverage was achieved in a single application, providing an environmentally sound erosion and sediment control solution.
Result
The application of Vital Bon-Matt P47-VR1 effectively delivered the required site stabilisation, whilst allowing for the successful germination and growth of the drill-seeding.
The environmentally sound formulation ensured no adverse effects to the vegetation, whilst also delivering cost and operational efficiencies across the project.
