Expertise, Global Vision: Vital Chemical Expands into New Zealand

Vital Chemical is proud to announce its continued international growth with the appointment of Andy Craig as Business Development Manager and the establishment of an expanded team operating under the Vital Chemical New Zealand brand.

Based in Queenstown, the new team will service the South Island and beyond, providing Vital’s full suite of erosion control, revegetation, dust suppression and water treatment solutions. This expansion ensures local expertise is available to support sustainable outcomes across construction, civil, mining, and infrastructure projects throughout New Zealand.

Vital Chemical Director Paul McMullen said the company’s investment in a local presence underscores its confidence in the New Zealand market and its people.

“Andy and the team bring exceptional local knowledge and experience,” he said. “We see significant opportunities as demand grows for environmentally responsible and technically proven products that support sustainable development.”

The announcement builds on Vital’s successful involvement in Queenstown’s Tiki Trail project, where the company delivered tailored solutions to stabilise and revegetate a challenging site. This work formed part of the ongoing redevelopment of Skyline Queenstown, ensuring environmental protection while enabling essential infrastructure upgrades.

Vital Chemical looks forward to strengthening partnerships across New Zealand and continuing its mission to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions that make a lasting positive impact on communities and the environment.
